We build this red camellia from layered fabric petals gathered into a bloom measuring about 3.1 inches across. The back carries two mountings: a standard bar pin for woven cloth and an alligator clip for hair. It fastens directly to a jacket lapel, hat band, or gathered braid.

• Layered fabric petals. We shape the camellia petals from red fabric to give the blossom dimension without adding heavy weight. The bloom stands about 1.1 inches high from base to center.
• Dual clip and pin back. The reverse side features both a plated alloy bar pin and an alligator clip. You can pin it through heavy wool or clip it into styled hair without changing hardware.
• Placement on cloth. The bar pin secures into jacket lapels, coat collars, hats, or tote bags. It sits flat against woven fabrics without pulling the weave.
• Care and storage. Keep the fabric petals dry and away from water or hairspray. Store the piece flat in a small box so the petal edges retain their shape between wearings.
