We shape these 4.3 inch rose blooms on our flower bench using layered satin silk fabric. Each piece carries both an alligator hair clip and a safety brooch pin on the back plate. They fasten to updos, lapels, hat bands, and light dresses without weighing down the cloth.

• Satin silk petals. We cut and curl the satin silk fabric in graduated circles to build a rounded rose shape. The petals hold their body through an event and stay soft to the touch.
• Dual backing hardware. The metal base plate holds a spring hair clip and a traditional brooch pin. You can clip the flower into an updo or pin it through a lapel, scarf, or hat ribbon.
