We build this dark blue rose on our flower bench using shaped fabric petals gathered tightly at the center. It weighs about 6 grams and measures 1.89 inches across. The back carries both a safety pin and an alligator clip, so you can fasten it to a lapel or slide it into an updo.

• Layered fabric petals. Each petal is cut from dark blue fabric and shaped to form a compact bloom measuring 1.89 inches across and 1.18 inches deep. The fabric holds its shape without extra weight.
• Dual back fitting. We mount both a brooch pin and a hair clip on the base plate. You can pin it to a jacket collar or clip it directly into your hair without switching hardware.
• Light bench weight. At approximately 6 grams, the flower rests lightly against thin fabrics and stays pinned without pulling threads down. It sits flat on lapels, hats, and scarves.
